New
Zealand, where spectacularly beautiful landscape
including vast mountain chains, steaming volcanoes,
sweeping coastlines, and lush rainforests are
the norm for its people. It is a haven for those
seeking peace, rejuvenation and relaxation as
well as a playground for thrill seekers and adventurers.
North and South Island divide New Zealand into
two wonderfully different worlds of their own.
North Island, which is home to the capital Wellington
and the larger city of Auckland, offers an unforgettable
city experience in a natural setting. On the extreme
west of the North Island of New Zealand stands
Mount Egmont. Christchurch or ‘Garden City
of the World’, South Island’s largest
city, has an abundance of scenic attractions,
exciting adventures and upbeat nightlife venues
that represent a city that is fun loving, creative
and extremely cosmopolitan. Located in scenic
Christchurch is the Orana Park, New Zealand’s
largest animal reserve and is internationally
recognized for its breeding of rare and endangered
New Zealand and African animals. Experience the
feeding of the magnificent Rothschild giraffe,
observe cheetah in full chase or perhaps feed
a couple of rare New Zealand Kiwis. The Southern
Alps are often obscured by clouds, which is probably
why the Maoris called New Zealand “Aotearoa”,
the long white cloud.
